Milan is the most economically important city of Italy. It is the second most densely populated city in the country after Rome. While mistakenly not considered as beautiful as some other Italian cities, having been partially destroyed by the World War II bombings, the city was recreated as a thriving cosmopolitan business capital.

In fact, what makes Milan interesting in comparison with other places is that the city is an oasis of pleasures: a paradise for shopping, football, opera and nightlife. Do not be fooled by the modern side of the city; it is one of the oldest cities in Europe with more than 26 centuries of history and heritage!
