Toronto is the most populous city in Canada and it’s located on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. Toronto is sometimes referred to as The New York City of Canada because of the general feel of the city is similar to that of New York City, and because Toronto has been a popular destination for immigrants. Owing largely to the country’s liberal immigration policies and the region’s strong economy, Toronto has, in recent decades, been transformed into one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse cities in the world. Over half of the city’s residents were born outside Canada.

The ten proposed activities and attractions are:

  1. CN Tower (get to the top of this 553.3 m-high concrete communications and observation tower)
  2. Toronto Islands (a chain of small islands in Lake Ontario)
  3. Royal Ontario Museum (a museum of art, world culture and natural history with an impressive architecture)
  4. Ripley’s Aquarium Of Canada (A huge and impressive aquarium with an enormous selection aquatic animals)
  5. High Park (A perfect place for a peaceful walk and relaxation)
  6. Distillery Historic District (A pedestrian-only Distillery District, set in quaint 19th century buildings that once housed a large whiskey distillery currently lined with restaurants, bars and boutiques)
  7. CF Toronto Eaton Centre (Huge array of shops, clothiers & restaurants in a, historic mall with a glass ceiling)
  8. Kensington Market and Spadina Avenue (a distinctive multicultural neighborhood)
  9. Niagara Falls Tour, which is approximately 130 km away
  10. Visit one of the main impressive theatres of Toronto
